         This small but attractive species is a recent discovery made in June 2004. It grows in the Huanglong valley in open shrub at altitudes between 3100-3200 m. In June 2005 it was also seen by one of the authors in a similar habitat in the neighboring Wanglang National Panda Reserve. Special characters of the new species are the two small white flowers with magenta-spotted lips, the partly uprolled margins of the lip, the widely separated viscidia covered by two bursicles and the broadly ovate single leaf. The plant reaches a height of 6-9 cm and the flowers have a diameter of 0.9-1.1 cm.

        这个细弱而又迷人的新种是2004年才发现的。它生长在黄龙沟海拔3100-3200米的开阔灌丛中。2005年6月，本书作者之一在邻近的王朗国家级大熊猫保护区里类似的生境中也发现过该新种。它的鉴别特征是每个花葶具两朵花，花白色，唇瓣上具紫红色斑点，唇瓣边缘部分向上翻卷，两个粘盘明显分开并且被粘囊覆盖，植株只有一枚宽卵形叶。植株高可达6-9厘米， 花直径0.9-1.1厘米。
